Dr. Johnson will regularly complete continuing education to stay up to date on the latest technologies and techniques in dentistry, especially in 3rd molar extractions and socket preservation for implant placements, which he "specializes" in.

Dr. Johnson is an active member of the Old North State Dental Society (ONSD) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Johnson is from Charlotte, NC, and is a proud graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2021 and afterward completed his residency in New Orleans, LA at University Hospital. There, Dr. Johnson was Chief Resident and gained valuable experience with medically compromised patients, trauma, and oral surgery.

When he isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Johnson loves sports (he’s a former football player!) Other hobbies he enjoys include working out, cooking, and traveling!

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cox enjoys watching movies and reading. He has one daughter who lives in Colorado and an 8-year-old grandson.
